Day 55

AMay15NZCov

1 New case. 10 Recovered cases. Ratio of recovered cases to active cases is 94.8%.

Thames was a no go. Valerie was not up to it and I discovered a bureaucratic glitch in the matrix so we postponed and had a quiet, relaxing day tucked in at home. I completed the repairs on the lamp and returned it to its place in the sitting room. Checked it off the list and made new plans for tomorrow (today:). All is well.

A glitch in the matrix is always to be avoided if possible. A quiet, relaxing day at home? Perfect. Better luck tomorrow. 🙂

      Dear Janet,

Yes. And today the sun is shining, the quail decided to grace us with their presence and all is still well. Hope it is that way with you also.

      Cheers,

      Doug

Not so much today. Finishing up taxes and trying to coax some newly planted veggies and herbs to grow. Still getting used to what will grow here when. I planted sweet peas, but our landlady said they’ll likely die and that I should plant them in fall. 🙂 We’ll see how it goes.

It’s not really a bad day, just sort of meh. 🙂

    Dear Doug,

Sounds like a pleasant day. Your skill in your workshop has always amazed me. I love the quail stories. Finished a painting today and started another. Took a walk. All is well with your friends in the Midwest. Glad to hear good news from the valley.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

      Dear Rochelle,

Are you counting down until the end of the month and the resumption of swimming? I wonder when you’re going to get your own pool? Keep painting and keep staying out of the line of fire. 17 quail showed up this morning as though they hadn’t been gone for two days. They’re keeping us guessing.

      Love,

      Doug
